History
Our story starts way back...
Friends For Change Initiative (ffci), a community-based organization registered in Kenya on 16th May, 2016 with Registration number HUD.KIB/LGT/CBO/5/4/2016/0030 under the ministry of Gender and social services to carter for the needs of widows and orphans in the outskirts of Nairobi City County, especially the Kibera, Kangemi and Kawangware Slums.
Objectives of the organization are:-
a) To equip the orphans and widows with knowledge
on Micro-entrepreneurship
b) To create awareness on sexual abuse, child
labor, drug and alcohol abuse
c) To create avenues for employment of the
orphans and widowed women to combat and fight crime
d) To transform lives and communities to be
self-sustaining and self- reliance and self-propagating.
